Pleasure has always
been a key ingredient of whatever we do and we intend to keep it that
way. After happily wandering under many beautiful skies, we arrived in
Haute-Gaspésie in 1988. From then on, our memories of sea and
mountains would be united under one single landscape.
Our business stems from a strong family tradition
for fine food, coupled with a great curiosity for the culinary arts and
for everything related to the pleasures of a good table.
Our life in a
maritime environment naturally oriented our passion towards seafood
products and particularily traditional smoking. Our first experiments
were tried out by close friends and family and then the circle widened
to include amateurs. In 1993, we undertook our first industrial production
where we presented our famous old-fashioned smoked salmon.
In 1997, we opened our own shop which is situated
in the cove at Mont-Louis. Mont-Louis is a picturesque village on the
Gaspesian coast. We serve a local and tourist clientele at our sales
counter which has been set up in such a way that our customers can see
the salting and smoking processes.
True to our desire of making a contribution
to the convivial pleasures of a fine table, we wish to share our know-how
with as many people as
possible. Without ever compromising on quality and refinement, we now
offer over ten products and have a production capacity of 75 metric
tons a year, enough to share our Gaspesian creativity with people all
over
